The panelists introduce practitioners to chapter 7 bankruptcy by providing an overview of all major aspects of and events involved in a debtor’s chapter 7 case. Topics include the completion of a debtor’s schedules, exemptions and eligibility, concept of discharge and dischargeability, a debtor’s options for dealing with secured debts, relief from automatic stay, and a timeline of key events in a case.
